Sherrill Welcome, LCSW

Sherrill Welcome is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who received her undergraduate degree in anthropology from Drew University, and her master’s degree in social work from Rutgers University. Sherrill has been practicing social work for more than 10 years, with a background in areas of aging, disabilities, case management, advocacy and discharge planning. Sherrill has worked in a variety of settings from community-based non-profit organizations to state child protective services to inpatient acute rehabilitation. Sherrill uses an individualized, strengths-based approach to assist clients in coping with adjustment, grief, anxiety, depression and any other concern they may bring to sessions. Sherrill is a good listener who treats all client with dignity and respect.

In her free time, you can find Sherrill walking her dog, gardening, knitting, spending time with friends and family, and watching comedies.
