Irlande is a Licensed Associate Counselor (LAC) with nine years’ experience. Her passion is helping others and making a difference in someone’s life. She has worked with a number of individuals of many different backgrounds and takes pride in providing each client with compassion and care. She provides person centered treatments, helps clients develop coping skills and manage the distress in their lives. Her primary modalities are Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness techniques, Rational Emotive Behavioral techniques, solution-focused approaches.

Irlande has worked with homeless clients, foster care, institutionalized individuals, and more. The clients Irlande has worked with were of various ages and backgrounds; “working with them was a learning experience that I hope to build upon.” she states. Her role in working with clients is to provide a compassionate, non-judgment, listening ear, and safe place. Helping clients feel at ease with what they are going through and providing the most rewarding and healing atmosphere one could is the best part of my job. Her success as a mental health worker is rooted in her education and experience with clients.
