Dara Rosenbaum, Ph.D.

Dr. Dara Rosenbaum, PhD. is a licensed Clinical Psychologist who received her Master’s Degree and Doctorate Degree in Clinical Health Psychology from The Ferkauf Graduate School of Psychology, Yeshiva University. Dr. Rosenbaum has been working at Integrative Psychology Services since 2009 within the assisted living and skilled nursing settings.  She specializes in working with the geriatric population and has extensive knowledge in treating dementia and Alzheimer’s patients.  Dr. Rosenbaum’s diverse background includes working as a psychotherapist within the assisted living, rehabilitation, skilled nursing and long term psychiatric facilities treating a wide range of emotional concerns, including adjustment issues, depression, anxiety, and behavioral changes.

Dr. Rosenbaum has been trained to provided individual and group psychotherapy, as well as family therapy.  Treatment approaches include cognitive behavioral therapy and life review therapy.  Dr. Rosenbaum also completes competency evaluations, cognitive assessments, and neuropsychological evaluations to help determine the degree of cognitive impairment for individuals within the geriatric population.
